What a special day at Grace Oasis! Nearly 30 ladies, both young and seasoned in life, gathered together for a joyful time of fellowship, laughter, and spiritual growth. From the first warm greetings to the final goodbyes, the atmosphere was filled with genuine connection and encouragement. There is something deeply refreshing about women coming together with open hearts, ready to strengthen one another in the Lord.
One of the highlights of the day was our meaningful craft. Each lady created her own fabric cross, thoughtfully designed and deeply personal. As hands worked and conversations flowed, stories were shared and friendships strengthened. It was more than a creative activity. It was a beautiful reminder of the cross that unites us and the faith that anchors us.
The homemade food was another blessing. Every dish was prepared with care, and the tables were filled with both delicious meals and joyful conversation. Laughter came easily. New friendships began, and long-standing ones grew deeper. It was sweet fellowship in its purest form.
The heart of the event was the powerful Bible message from Mom Cindy. She shared the account of Abraham and Isaac, reminding us how God finally gave Abraham the son he had waited for and loved so deeply, only to ask him to place that very gift back on the altar. It was a tender yet convicting reminder that sometimes our greatest blessings can quietly become the very things that stand between us and full surrender to God.
Mom Cindy challenged each of us to consider, “What is my Isaac?” What have I held so tightly that it competes with my trust in the Lord? Her message was clear: when we are willing to surrender whatever stands between us and God, He does not leave us empty. Obedience brings blessing. Surrender leads to deeper faith, greater freedom, and a closer walk with Him. It was the kind of message that causes you to pause, reflect, and quietly recommit your heart.
Grace Oasis once again proved to be the perfect setting. Peaceful, natural, and set apart from everyday distractions, it provided the ideal backdrop for reflection, connection, and renewal.
We are so thankful for every lady who attended and helped make the day meaningful. If this gathering is any indication of what God is doing among the women of Grace Baptist Church, the days ahead are full of hope and promise.
